RHA 4 – Adds structural volume and definition to the cheeks and jawline with a naturally contoured finish.
How long does a filler treatment take?
On average, an filler treatment session only takes around 15 to 30 minutes. In fact, you may even be able to have the treatment performed during your lunch break! How quickly will the results appear? Most clients start to see improvements to their skin texture and fullness within 24 to 48 hours of their filler treatment. Usually, the full results are visible after only two to three days.
What You Should Know Before Treatment
Arrive with a clean face, neck, and chest without any make-up or lotions on. If you have a history of cold sores or shingles in the treatment area, an antiviral medication (such as Valtrex or Acyclovir) should be taken starting 1 day before treatment. During Treatment Your treatment typically takes 30-45 minutes. A numbing cream may be applied for comfort, and you may feel mild pressure or pinching during the injections. Some redness, swelling, or bruising is common but should subside quickly. Your provider will guide you on aftercare for the best results.
After Treatment Common side effects like bruising, redness, swelling, and soreness may last up to two weeks but typically resolve within a few days. To reduce bruising, avoid aspirin or NSAIDs unless prescribed. Refrain from makeup for 24 hours, and avoid strenuous activity, sun, heat, and alcohol on the treatment day. Ice packs and Arnica can help reduce swelling and bruising. If prescribed, take antiviral medication as directed.
